President's Message

Dear esteemed fellow Korean American Physicians,

Since its founding in 1974, the Korean American Medical Association (KAMA) has proudly served its physician members in many meaningful ways. What began as small gatherings of Korean heritage physicians in friendship by sharing experiences of their works in US has grown into a purposeful organization—one committed to advancing the U.S. healthcare community through service, leadership and mentoring future generations through knowledge-sharing, connection, and support.

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of past and present KAMA members, our organization has matured and evolved with a renewed sense of purpose, vision, and strategy.

In recent years, we have successfully navigated unprecedented challenges—strengthening our collegiality and educational mission during the pandemic, promoting inclusivity, equity, and accountability in healthcare, and reconnecting with our cultural heritage by renewing our friendship with Korean medical communities. These achievements reflect the remarkable talent and resilience of our members and leadership. None of this would have been possible without your continued support.
